I'll be the roundabout

kitkatchunkycaramelimax
A two alarm start today, to be sure to be airside early. Coffee, a BA croissant in the lounge, rendezvous with the others and onward to a plane.

Not so much later, we were in hills, sunshine and the smell of freshly cut grass.

All in a day's work.

Driving, offices, meetings, handshakes, airside again for a couple of beers and then watching scenery flickering past the wing until landing ten minutes before a phone conference.

Admiring an evening sky as the sun melted thin clouds across a pink and purple horizon.

You change the day your way
Call it morning driving thru the sound and
In and out the valley
I'll be the roundabout
The words will make you out n out

Yes.

infinity nets are the new black

another infinity net
Sometimes the blog posts just write themselves.

The pictures from yesterday of the trees wrapped in red with polkadots are part of a famous Japanese artist's metaphor about reality and infinity. The idea is that the dots are where an infinity net overtakes the reality we all see. It could be like seeing into the atoms of the structure. Seeing behind the everyday form.

Once its in the subconscious its another form of pattern recognition, like noticing masonic eyes and Triangles.

The thing that really surprised me today was seeing a woman in a black dress with Yayoi Kusama's polkadots. She was on the same train and I couldn't help notice the three sizes of dot, just like the ones in the infinity net.

Kusama famously first suffered from mental illness around the time of the first dots appearance and still today is a voluntary patient in a Tokyo mental hospital.

wait zone

the meeting place
This is the 'before' end of an evening, when I'm supposed to be meeting outside Costa Coffee at Waterloo station right by the post box. The designated meeting spot.

A few minutes later I'll be told by a taxi driver that its impossible to get to Aldgate this evening and then a few minutes after that I'll be on the Drain heading to Bank, from where I can walk along Leadenhall Street to this evening's destination.

But more of that when the beer has worn off.
